This morning I sent out a facebook request for friends to make a cookie recipe and tell me how many cookies it made. And you could tell me if there are any typos or really screwy instructions, too. (You will be helping me immensely in editing my cookbook!) So if that's why you're here... Thanks! (But don't forget to message me how many cookies—or leave a comment here.) ☺
PEANUT-BUTTER COOKIES
½ cup butter
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup packed brown
sugar
1 egg
½ tsp. vanilla
¾ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
2¼ cups flour
additional white
sugarHeat oven to 375°. Cream butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, egg and vanilla together until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together and add to peanut-butter mixture. Shape dough into balls and roll in additional white sugar. Place balls on ungreased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart. Flatten them to just less than ½-inch thick, using a fork and pressing it into the balls in a criss-cross pattern. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

This makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies. :)
